Initial Setup
- Open the Smart Approval page in Business Central.
- Select the document types to enable Smart Approval for (Sales, Purchase, etc.).
- Configure approval criteria and approver assignment (direct, specific, user group).
- Enable or disable Smart Approval workflows for each document type.

Workflow Integration
- Smart Approval integrates with standard BC workflows.
- You can enable or disable Smart Approval for each workflow via the setup page.
- Approval requests are created automatically based on configured criteria.
User Groups and Approvers
- Assign approvers directly, specifically, or via user groups.
- Use the Workflow User Group and User Setup pages to manage approvers.
